Is it "Homophobic" to use the phrase "No Homo" ?

For example If I were to tell a very close friend of mine ; "I love you bro, No Homo" - would that be considered Homophobic assuming I have nothing against gay people and I was using the phrase simply to put the point across that what I said was meant in a "brotherly-love" type of way and not a gay love type of way ?
