Can someone please tell me the damage of the situation.?

I live in California and went to a restaurant. My brother and I went outside. Like all brothers we have a brotherly competition. So we do some parkour. I jump to try to touch a lamp and loss my balance. My hand still up touches a brick, then a brick falls on my head. Now I'm nervous cause I don't know if its my fault or the city. The people at the restaurant tell me that its just a couple of bricks and not to worry. My sister tells me that its the cities fault for public safety and for that brick being loose. So help please.
