Dear friends.I am in love with a girl who has been my best friend for the past one and a half years.?

The problem is that she came to knw of my feelings after 6 months into knowing me and hence by that time she had already catgorised me as a brotherly figure.Then it became very difficult for her to get me out of tht category.And even though nw she does look at me as a friend and no longer a bro.She says its very hard for her to shift categories and look at me in a romantic way.She says she has been trying a lot and lot and she really wants to like me but her thinking is such tht she cant really replace one person from one category to the other.Have tried gifting her romantic stuff too but then tht does nt help thtmuch.She knws im a gr8 guy and tht thre is no guy out thre who is like me.Bt she somehow cant manage to like me.Wat shud i do?Plz help me.Im pretty sure this is the girl for me.....
