Crazy confusing dream: cupcakes anyone?

Ok. Something I will own up to. I don't care for people who gossip, but if someone gossips to me about someone else, I am likely to just try shrug it off. If I find out this person was gossiping about me, that is when I am likely to cease speaking to them. So I am guessing that the gossip that caused you to quit speaking to your cousin was something that injured you personally. In your side note you also mention that your cousin generally can't stand it when someone's attention is on you, and will really be obnoxious in order to get attention. In the imagery also, your cousin seems to be hogging all the attention, in hogging all these small indulgences that we call cupcakes. I think you already know what this imagery is representing, but perhaps you are asking for confirmation of what you already know, your cousin is jealous of you, and wants whatever you have, or seem to have, and the more special it is to you, the more she wants it, and the more obnoxious she will be because of her jealousy. I can dig it, I had a jealous cousin growing up, if you need confirmation of what you already know, here it is. You were in a cab that had to pick her up, because she's been "taking you for a ride", and you found her hanging out on a bunk in your children's bedroom because you know that she acts like a child. She was also probably the crybaby that interrupted you and your "friend" in the first place. She spoils the little rewards that you would like to enjoy in life, and it's probably just as well you're not acknowledging her now, or at least until she grows up.
